What's going on in Room 2?

Here is your weekly Room 2 update.

Homework
The week 6 assignment has been posted on this blog. Click the link on the right of this blog page to see what is in store for you this week.

Remember, for those who don't have a computer at home you can use the class computers every morning, from approximately 8am until the start of the day bell.

Sport
Keep up with the fitness everyone. Make sure you do something at home to add to your fitness sessions at school.

Another excellent win for the senior girls soccer team, many of who are Room 2 students. This week Savana and Ana scored goals, and Ana was the Player of the Day.

ICT
Jamane, Zoe and Gabby really enjoyed their day on the digital photography course on Friday. We will be looking to see them bring the skills they learned back to share with the class.

Primary Enterprise Programme (PrEP)
The barter exchange on Tuesday was a lot of fun and a great way to start the PrEP unit. It was fantastic to see all of the Room 2 students bringing something for the exchange, a key reason as to why it was so successful.

On the list of Sites we Like (on the bottom right of this blog page) you will see the Sorted Games link. Have a go with these at home, and show others in your family so that they can have a go to.

French
We had to finish the Family unit last week. The unit on pets will start Week 6. Check out the Let's Learn French blog for a heads up on the names of animals that you may have as pets at home.

Te Reo Maori
The weekly Te Reo blog has been updated. Click the link on the right hand side of this page to check it out and keep up your Te Reo Maori learning. This week the post is on asking three or more people 'How are you?'

Camp
Another reminder for camp. Fundraising opportunities will be put in place very soon. You can also start making weekly payments to the office so that you don't have to pay it one lump sum.
