What's up in Room 2

Another busy week has passed in Room 2. It seems like the year is flying by; before we know it, camp will be only days away.

Camp
It is really important that you start to (if you haven't done so already) make payments for camp. A lot of you have already done well with fundraising through chocolate sales. This week you will be given the balance of what is still to be paid. Once you have this, talk to your parents about paying off a little each week.

French
Oops! Last week a video was posted that had already been in an earlier lesson. However, at least this gave you a chance to revise the months of the year!

This week the video posted also revisits the days of the week and the months of the year. At the end of the video you will see how to write the actual date.

Te Reo Maori
The Let's Learn Te Reo Maori post this week goes over the Maori alphabet. On the lesson post there are some links to take you to some pronunciation practice videos.

PrEP Market Day
This way an absolute blast! Everyone had and awesome time. It was great to see the feature article on the front page of the Times Age.

Take Action for Water
Warren Field visited the class last week to introduce the Take Action for Water unit that will be the major topic focus for the term. It was great hearing about how enthusiastic you all were about Warren's session. The unit will be one that you are all bound to enjoy.

Homework
A new sheet has been posted. Check it out to see what is required of you for this week.
